Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

Amazed Electrical provides professional electrical services across Sydney. This policy outlines how we handle cancellations, service issues, and refunds where applicable.

2. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

  • If a service has a major failure, you may be entitled to a refund
  • If the issue is minor, we will fix the problem within a reasonable timeframe
  • These rights apply regardless of any terms in this policy

3. Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for change of mind once a booking has been confirmed or work has commenced.

4. Cancellations

Before Scheduled Work

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time
  • No fee applies if cancelled within this timeframe

Late Cancellations

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a call-out or booking fee

After Work Has Started

  • No refunds will be provided for work that has already commenced or been completed

5. Service Issues

If you believe the service has not been completed correctly, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • We will assess the issue
  • If required, we will rectify the work at no additional cost

Where a major failure is confirmed under Australian Consumer Law, a refund or partial refund may be provided where appropriate.

6. Deposits

  • Deposits may be required for certain bookings
  • Deposits are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed and scheduled
  • A refund may be considered if cancellation occurs within the allowed timeframe

7. Access & Customer Responsibility

Refunds or rescheduling may not apply where:

  • Access to the property is not provided at the agreed time
  • Incorrect or incomplete information is supplied
  • The issue is caused by factors outside our control

8. Refund Process

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be returned to the original payment method
  • Please allow 3–7 business days for processing
